As a scholar, I focus my research and scholarship in the field of homiletics and rhetoric, particularly Black preaching and Black rhetoric. I’m currently a Ph.D. student in the African American Preaching and Sacred Rhetoric program at Chrisitan Theological Seminary (Indianapolis, IN). My research focus is the intersection of Blackness, Queerness, and Sacred Rhetoric. I earned dual Master of Divinity and Master of Theological Studies degrees at Claremont School of Theology.
